Theres something so calming about holding a pebble. The way the different dips fit with your fingers, and the feel of the smooth surface.
These pebble earrings were created as a piece of comfort that you can wear every day.
It was handmade using silver clay which is made by grinding down fine silver which is taken from things like the insides of old computers, and mixed with an organic water-based binder to make a clay. Once sculpted, it is left to dry out completely before firing, where the clay magically turns to silver!
Each pebble is slightly different, just as they are on the beach, but all measure approx 0.75cm x 0.75 cm, and hang from 2 handmade recycled sterling silver ear hooks.
Born as a way of encouraging freedom and spontaneity within my practice, F L O W is an evolving series of truly unique jewellery.
Being able to work in such a playful way is something that has always been important to me, and I am so excited to have encapsulated this through silver.
Each piece from this collection is made by melting down recycled and waste silver to create new designs with their own individual flow and character.
Each with their own story, each one of a kind.
Handmade entirely from recycled sterling silver.
