Inspired by finding hag stones on the beach as a child, this necklace is formed using silver clay.
Silver Clay is made by grinding down fine silver which is taken from things like the insides of old computers, and mixed with an organic water-based binder to make a clay. Once sculpted, it is left to dry out completely before firing, where the clay magically turns to silver!
The pendant part of this necklace measure approx 2cm x 1.5cm, and sits on a 25" Sterling Silver Rope Chain.
Born as a way of encouraging freedom and spontaneity within my practice, F L O W is an evolving series of truly unique jewellery.
Being able to work in such a playful way is something that has always been important to me, and I am so excited to have encapsulated this through silver.
Each piece from this collection is made by melting down recycled and waste silver to create new designs with their own individual flow and character.
Each with their own story, each one of a kind.
Please note that while the main body of this necklace is made using recycled sterling silver, the chain is regular sterling silver. I am currently working to source recycled silver chains, and hope to update this as soon as I can.
50p of every order placed is donated to The Woodland Trust, to help protect our woodlands, trees, and wildlife.
